I love you

I've never been in love.

I've fallen for many, many boys in my life (my highest record being six at once), but I've never had the guts to come out to any of them. Anxiety's a bitch no matter how long you live with it.

The closest I've come to love is the common Familia love, the kind between mother and daughter, father and child, sibling and aunty love.

So I'll be the first to admit, my experience with love is limited.

However, recently; someone who I have had a very strained relationship with told me that they loved me.

Now to be clear for those of you with active imaginations, this person is not a love interest, and by strained I mean that on the same day they said they loved me, they also socked me one in the mouth.

So an apology followed by those three word aren't exactly what I want to hear.

Nothing like a lot of pent up feelings and a creative mind to inspire a story based on the most asked and answered question; What is love?

Will you find the answer in my new short story, or could the answer be to complicated to be put into words?
